The Small Conference Hall is designed for 24 participants and 5 presidium members at a horseshoe table. This hall of the Moscow Social Security Office has been provided with discussion facilities. Five integrated subsystems (loudspeaker, logging, control and discussion) ensure effective holding of relevant events including sound for meetings and conferences.
The discussion subsystem is based on Bosch DCN series equipment providing for discussion organization and management in the hall. This solution makes it possible to prioritize participants, arrange speaker waiting lists, limit the number of simultaneous switched on basic discussion units.
The loudspeaker subsystem ensures sound of speeches, presentations, conferences, video conference sessions and other events. The subsystem has two control options: external control using installed facilities and via a terminal. The loudspeaker subsystem includes the following loudspeakers: six overhead JBL Control 24C and two wall-mounted JBL Control 25AV WH loudspeakers, two Crown CTs 600 stereo amplifiers, Shure voice microphone radio system and Biamp Nexia CS digital audio signal processing and switching system.
The logging subsystem provides for recording and further playback of audio signals from the discussion and loudspeaker subsystems. Marantz PMD580 logging system records digital information and automatically publishes it in network data stores and Compact Flash memory. Besides, the system features scheduled recording and automatic backup functionality.
The control subsystem comprises AMX facilities and designed for remote automatic control of equipment and facilities of the first three subsystems including loudspeaker, logging and discussion. The user interface comprises AMX touchpad and Apple iPad with a special user-friendly intuitive graphic interface facilitating system control by an untrained user.
The whole discussion complex is operated in session mode including 24/7 functionality.
The Great Conference Hall is equipped with modern audiovisual front projectors. The system features a wall mounted enhanced reflectivity DNP Supernova screen with 16:9 aspect ratio used to display information. This group screen is used to display images from Mitsubishi FL7000U installation projector featuring Mitsubishi OL-X500 projection lens. This is a Full HD projector capable of displaying images with the resolution of 1920x1080 and brightness of 5000 ANSI lumens. Such projector used together with the enhanced reflectivity screen ensures considerably improved image quality in daylight conditions.
Besides, four Mitsubishi LCD displays are installed in the Great Conference Hall. Two Mitsubishi MDT521S displays mounted on ceiling brackets ensure comfortable viewing for participants that are far away from the main screen. In addition, the chairman and the presidium members can view information on two Mitsubishi LDT461V displays mounted on floor stands. Together with these displays, there are videoconferencing automatic pointing cameras ensuring shooting of event participants at the correct angle.
To protect information, all switching functions are digital. Video and audio signals are transmitted via fiber optic cables meaning high interference immunity and absence of external emissions along the signal path.
The chairman’s workstation is equipped with AMX touchpad to control the meeting: limit speech time, make VC calls, switch TV channels, control volume, select display sources. There is a special interface for notebook connection.
The speaker’s stand is equipped with Bosch DCN series microphone console. Besides, it features an integrated Wacom graphic pad. Due to this solution the speaker can see his/her presentation without facing the screen and be focused on the audience as well as change slides, provide graphic comments and save them in electronic format.
The Conference Hall is equipped with professional wall-mounted JBL loudspeakers ensuring high speech intelligibility. The workstations are equipped with Bosch DCN series conference microphone consoles used for speech amplification and keeping with procedural regulations. The system is composed of delegate pads, a chairman pad, central equipment and other interface devices. Microphone consoles are provided with a speech request button. Several operating modes can be selected for the conference system.
Videoconference sessions are ensured by Polycom HDX 7001 XL system featuring HD video signal and transfer of computer image (presentations, documents, desktop copies, etc.) to remote subscribers. Integrated functions of multipoint videoconference server and simultaneous document management enable connection of up to 4 remote participants.
