Development and implementation of the audiovisual system by Avilex for the conference hall and office of the President of Olympstroy State Corporation Moscow Branch was focused on compatibility of existing solutions and data protection. Besides, according to Konstantin Lupanov, the Project Department Manager of Avilex, Company specialists “managed two main challenges: ensured the maximum equipment quality and functionality with minimum interference in the room architecture and floor plans.”
This Project has a number of features, namely the optimal choice of information display facilities proved by respective estimates, integration of the existing and planned systems, their compatibility with data protection solutions, exceptionally user friendly control and maximum preservation of the architecture and plan structure of the conference hall and the President’s office.
In view of good natural light conditions, it was decided to install DNP Supernova 2657mm х 1494mm projection screen with a high amplifier gain as the principal display tool in the conference hall. The image quality of this screen due to the patented coating technology is practically unaffected by the ambient light, resulting in sharp pictures with up to ten times higher contrast and up to two times higher brightness than conventional front screens. The system also comprises Mitsubishi FL7000U Full HD projector featuring an unprecedented combination of high definition performance (1920х1080) and ultra bright 5000 ANSI lumens.
Two LCD displays are installed to the right and to the left of the work table with VC open and close circuit cameras below creating comfortable conditions for all meeting participants.
The Company specialists managed to successfully integrate all the existing equipment, including videoconferencing means used by the offices of Olympstroy State Corporation based in Sochi and Moscow, in one project. The developed solutions enable displaying information on all screens in any configuration and from various sources: assistant’s work station, VC open and close circuit terminals or notebooks placed on the work table (up to two notebooks brought by participants). User friendly cut-in interfaces are also provided in the table to connect notebooks.
To protect data, all switching functions in the conference hall (and in the President’s office) are digital, and video and audio signals are transferred via fiber optics. This ensures good anti-interference capacity and prevents external radiation along the signal path. The audiovisual system is not used to process any secret information, the VC open and closed circuits never intersect.
All equipment is installed in decorative switching boards integrated in the interior.
The conference hall loud speaking system is represented by ceiling mounted professional JBL loud speakers. Audio signals are processed and routed by Biamp digital audio processor specially designed for videoconferencing applications and eliminating echo and feedback effects.
Crown mini microphones cut in the work table eliminate “sea of microphones” and bulky panels typical for all conventional conference systems and obscuring the view. Microphones can be switched on and off by pressing the upper part of the body. This solution leaves more space for every participant at the work table.
AMX integrated control system equipment is used for easy and comfortable system equipment control including the source of data to be displayed, volume control, switching the projector on/off, private/open conference modes. The user interface is represented by a compact 10” touchpad with a dedicated graphic interface for the user without any advanced technical knowledge to manage all system modes.
Besides, the control system monitors the system technical condition and generates alarms for responsible persons to take prompt measures in case of any technical problems (e.g. by SMS or e-mail).
The Corporate President Office Project provided for integration of the existing equipment and installation of professional Mitsubishi 65” Full HD LCD display as the main display device.
Sources of information displayed on the screen may include notebooks on the work table of the chief executive and on the meeting table (up to two notebooks brought by meeting participants), manager’s Apple workstation, as well as TV and professional Blue Ray player. Additionally the screen may display information from cameras installed in the reception room.
All switching functions are digital to protect information in the President's office (and in the conference hall). Video and audio signals are transferred via fiber optics. This ensures high signal quality and prevents external radiation along the signal path.
Sony 5:1 System ensures good sound quality both for routine work and watching movies.
The touchpad of AMX system installed at the work table of the chief executive and in the conference hall features a unique interface enabling the manager to control the system functionality easily and efficiently.
